Roger Lawrence

Cllr Lawrence was formally a Community Development Advisor for Sandwell Council between 1990 to 2004, in addition to this he has worked as a research in a local authority, a national voluntary organisation and in academia, as well as an Urban Policy Adviser.

He was first elected in 1983 and he represents the St. Peter's ward and is the Leader of Wolverhampton Council. In addition to this he is Chair of the West Midlands Joint Committee, where he was a leading player in the formation of the West Midlands Combined Authority.

Lee Jeavons

Lee Jeavons is a lifelong Walsall resident and currently the portfolio holder for Regeneration and Transport and the Deputy Leader at Walsall Council.

Lee is also a committed member of the Walsall Economic Board- working with key stakeholders to improve business conditions within the Walsall borough and seek employment prospects for local people.

Alongside his role at the Council, Lee is an Industrial Chemist by trade and has worked in the industry since 1987. He is a Chartered Chemist and a full member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Dr Ken Pollock

Cllr Pollock was educated at university studying Agriculture, Reading; MSc, Agricultural Engineering, Newcastle; MS, Agricultural Engineering, Rutgers University New Jersey, PhD, Agricultural Engineering, Newcastle; lecturer, agricultural engineering, Newcastle, 1969 - 1977.

He had a career in production working for both the BBC, and then as a freelance TV producer.

He has been the Councillor for the Tenbury Division of Worcestershire County Council since 2009; and chairman of the Economy and Environment Scrutiny panel, 2009 - 2016. He was appointed Cabinet Member in February, 2016.

Bob Sleigh

Bob Sleigh is Leader of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. Prior to becoming Solihull Leader he was Deputy Leader for eight years and Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing.

He is Deputy Mayor of the West Midlands, a Member of the West Midlands Combined Authority (formerly Chair), Chair of the West Midlands Joint Committee, Director of the West Midlands Combined Authority Growth Company, Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership and West Midlands Rail. Previously, he has also held non-executive positions with the NHS.

Angela McClements

Cllr McClements has been a member of the Labour Party for over 30 years and worked as constituency manager for Bruce Grocott MP and Peter Bradley MP from 1990-2005.

Cllr McClements has been a Telford & Wrekin borough Council since 2007, serving Arleston Ward.  She has served on a number of committees, including 4 years as Chair of the Co-Operative & Communities Scrutiny Committee.  Cllr McClements is now currently Cabinet Member for Transport, Customer & Neighbourhood Services.

Daniel Jellyman

Councillor Daniel Jellyman was born in Stoke-on-Trent and still lives locally.  He attended Keele University and graduated with a degree in politics.  Daniel started his own ceramics business which was based at the renowned Middleport Pottery; he now runs a marketing company specialising in the tourist and accommodation sector.

Daniel was elected to The City Council in May 2015 and he represents the Hanford and Trentham ward.   Daniel was one of the youngest candidates to stand during the June 2017 General Election. He currently serves as the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Transport and Heritage.
